Mike/Ian;

I am sending you this note to inform you that effective Monday, July 16th we will begin training exempt people on the key operating positions that are required to maintain integrity of the assets in the event of a work stoppage. There will be approximately fifty exempt employees trained between Monday and the end of the month.

 I will be meeting with these exempt people to ensure they understand the need for their assignment, the scope of the assignment and the necessity to engage with the unionized employees in a co-operative fashion. I donít expect there to be any issues.

In addition I plan to send out a memo to all employees informing them that this training will be taking place and explaining the need to do it.

Forwarded for your information.
