RE: General Membership Meeting Summary Report for March 15, 2023
The following notes represent my personal summary of the March General Membership Meeting and ARE NOT OFFICIAL MINUTES. They are for the express purpose of keeping the members informed in a timely fashion. Since minutes must be approved at a subsequent General Membership Meeting, any updates which would require the use of the actual minutes would result in updates being one-month old.
The following was approved at the February meeting:
- Minutes of the February 15th, 2023 meeting
- The financial statement ending February 28, 2023 and the disbursements of $142,338.61. Our disbursements were in excess of our receipts by $33, 139.26. This resulted in our General Account being positive by $114,505.54.
- Motion – Approve $1500 to sponsor the Korah Collegiate Football Team to compete at OFSAA..
- Motion – Approve an additional $226.00 for the motion for Thrive 2023 Annual Fundraiser..
- Motion – Approve a donation of $500 to OntORA to help with fishing regulations in Zone 10 and moose tags.
- Motion – Approve a donation of $1000 for the Algoma Autism Foundation 10th Anniversary event to be held at the Grand Gardens.
- Motion – Approve a donation of $1000 for the Alzheimer Society.

President's Report
- Mike reported on Negotiations with Support Staff.
- He also talked about safety - numerous close calls.
The next General Membership Meeting will be held on April 19th, 2023, at the Delta Hotel at 7:30 pm.
