RE: General Membership Meeting Summary Report for September 18, 2024
The following notes represent my personal summary of the September General Membership Meeting and ARE NOT OFFICIAL MINUTES. They are for the express purpose of keeping the members informed in a timely fashion. Since minutes must be approved at a subsequent General Membership Meeting, any updates which would require the use of the actual minutes would result in updates being one-month old.
The following was approved at the September meeting:
- Minutes of the August 18th, 2024 meeting
- The financial statement ending August 2024 and the disbursements of $250,053.30. Our receipts were in excess of our disbursements by $19,229.80. This resulted in our General Account being positive by $260,251.73.

The following motions were approved:
· 1) Motion – Approved a donation of up to $25,000.00 for the breakfast programs
2) Motion - Approved a donation of $500.00 to support the Teddy Bear program
3) Motion - Approved a donation of $1000.00 to The Canadian Fallen Heroes Foundation
4) Motion - Approved the cost to purchase a wreath for the Remembrance Day ceremony
5) Motion - Approve up to $20,000.00 to purchase dessert trays and 200 Personal essential bags to be donated for active and
retired members in the nursing homes, hospital and ARCH.

- No report this month as Mike was on vacation.
The next General Membership Meeting will be held on October 16th, 2024 at the Delta Hotel at 7:30 pm.
