RE: General Membership Meeting Summary Report for March 18, 2026
The following notes represent my personal summary of the March General Membership Meeting and ARE NOT OFFICIAL MINUTES. They are for the express purpose of keeping the members informed in a timely fashion. Since minutes must be approved at a subsequent General Membership Meeting, any updates which would require the use of the actual minutes would result in updates being one-month old.
The following was approved at the March meeting:
- Minutes of the February 18th, 2026 meeting
- The financial statement ending February 2026 and the disbursements of $159,999.16. Our disbursements were in excess of our receipts by $52,859.08. This resulted in our General Account being positive by $53,305.75.

The following motions were approved:
1) Motion – Approved a donation of $491.55 to advertise in the Sault College Handbook for the 2026/27 campaign
2) Motion - Approved the cost to purchase two season tickets for the Soo Greyhounds for 2026/27 season
President's Report - Vice President gave the report
- Mark mentioned that we are putting a motion on the agenda regarding a transfer from the Emergency Savings Account to reimburse the Building Asset Account and the Education Fund Account.
The next General Membership Meeting will be held on April 15th, 2026 at the Royal Canadian Legion at 7:30 pm.
