Negotiating Committee Update
Contrary to comments on Facebook, no one from Local 2251 is attending the International Convention in Las Vegas. Certainly not the negotiating committee. We are ready, able and willing to continue negotiating.
Furthermore, the offer was not made to the members it was made to the negotiating committee. if the Company wanted the members to vote, then the Company should have applied for Section 42 under the Labour Relations Act. They have not. Ask yourself why not!
