RE: General Membership Meeting Summary Report for November 19, 2025
The following notes represent my personal summary of the November General Membership Meeting and ARE NOT OFFICIAL MINUTES. They are for the express purpose of keeping the members informed in a timely fashion. Since minutes must be approved at a subsequent General Membership Meeting, any updates which would require the use of the actual minutes would result in updates being one-month old.
The following was approved at the November meeting:
- Minutes of the October 15th, 2025 meeting
- The financial statement ending October 2025 and the disbursements of $148,371.62. Our receipts were in excess of our disbursements by $15,032.79. This resulted in our General Account being positive by $145,757.01.

The following motions were approved:
1) Motion – Approved a donation of $200.00 to survivors of deceased members and $300.00 for a family of members who have passed in the past year.
2) Motion - Approved a donation of $1500.00 to the Sault Ste Marie Soup Kitchen
3) Motion - Approved a donation of $1500.00 to support St. Vincent's Place
4) Motion - Approved a donation of $1500.00 to support ARCH
5) Motion - Approved a donation of $1500.00 to support Pauline's Place
6) Motion - Approved a donation of $1500.00 to support the Salvation Army
7) Motion - Approved a donation of $1500.00 to support Women in Crisis
8) Motion - Approved a donation of $1500.00 to hold a social after the December Membership Meeting
9) Motion - Approved a donation of $750.00 to support Making A Difference
10) Motion - Approved a donation of $1500.00 to support Korah Collegiate Senior Football Team to compete in OFSAA Golden Horseshoe Bowl in Guelph, Ontario
11) Motion - Approved a donation of $28860.00 to purchases four chemotherapy treatment chairs for Sault Area Hospital
President's Report
- Mike reported on the Arbitration case regarding one of our members
- Mike also spoke on the potable water issue at the LMF
The next General Membership Meeting will be held on December 17th, 2025 at the Royal Canadian Legion at 7:30 pm.
