“…One of my contacts from the Boilermakers called me yesterday and said his Union is looking for welders, steel fabricators, riggers (which was my original trade at Stelco) in the SSM area.
If any of your about to be laid off members are in those trades I can put you in touch with my colleague from the Boilermakers and hopefully can find some employment opportunities for some of your members in this difficult period”.
