Over the past four days the members of USW Local Union 2251 have voted to support the
Recommendation of the Negotiating Committee to vote strike.
The membership voted 91% for a Strike.

Local 2251 filed grievance 25-0019 on January 21, 2025. The grievance deals with the issue of Maintenance of Earnings for affected employees at the Plate Mill.
